Hi readers! I’m Luisa, the creator of the Treasurie craft blog.

One of the first crafts I learned when I was 7 was sewing. An avid crafter, my mother helped me sew a little skirt for my favorite teddy. I still remember that day so clearly; in my mind, it was the straightest seam I’ve ever sewn.

In the years after, I learned to crochet, knit, and do other crafts like glass painting and polymer clay. My mother sold many of the craft items she made at local markets, and of course, my sister and I tagged along.

As an adult, I was a leather handbag and fashion designer before having my daughter. After that, I wanted to have a business with less travel and that I could work from home, so Treasurie was borne. Originally called My Childhood Treasures, I started making kids’ sewing patterns before moving to blogging.

Here at Treasurie, I aim to have the best step-by-step instructions on all my tutorials, along with clear photographs and diagrams so crafters of any skill level can follow along confidently. Treasurie is a comprehensive teaching resource for all kinds of crafts, including sewing, crocheting, knitting, and more.

Along with all the free tutorials and patterns, I offer premium sewing patterns in PDF form with multiple sizing options and printable pattern pieces.
