I used Lion Brand Hue and Me – 2 skeins of color Salt and 1 skein of color Sea Glass.

Skill Level

Gauge (4×4” Swatch)

10 st and 11 rows of sc with a 6.5mm (K-10.5) hook.

Sizing

62 x 7 inches (157 x 18cm). The size can be adjusted by altering the number of chains or rows.

How to Crochet a Block Stitch Infinity Scarf, Instructions

Row 1

1. In color A, chain 165 (multiple of 3).
2. Slip stitch to first chain to form a large ring (make sure chain is not twisted).
3. Ch1 (doesn’t count as stitch), sc, ch2, sk2.
4. * sc, ch2, sk2. Repeat from * all the way around.
5. Slip stitch to first sc to join round. Fasten off.

Row 2 (Clusters)

1. Join color B in any ch-2 space.
2. Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2dc in same space.
3. *3dc in next ch-2 space. Repeat from * around scarf.
4. Slip stitch to join round. Fasten off.

Row 3 (Chains)

1. Join color A in any space between the dc clusters.
2. Ch1 (doesn’t count as stitch), sc, ch2.
3. * sc into the next space between the clusters, ch2.
4. Repeat from * all the way around.
5. Slip stitch to join round. Fasten off.

Rows 4 to 13

1. Repeat rows 2 and 3 changing color each time. I crocheted 13 rows, but you can stop at any width as long as you end with a row 3.
2. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
