I used Lionbrand Wool Ease in Succulent and Fisherman. You can use any worsted-weight yarn.

2. YO, pull through (2 loops on hook).
3. YO, pull the yarn through both loops. (1 loop on hook)

Single Crochet 2 Together

1. Insert hook into the first stitch, YO and pull through (2 loops).
2. Insert hook into the next stitch, YO, pull through. (3 loops).
3. YO and pull through 3 loops (1 loop).

Bobble Stitch

1. YO, insert hook into next stitch, YO pull through. YO, draw through 2 loops. (2 loops on hook)

Bobble Beanie Crochet Pattern, Instructions

Brim

1. With color A, chain 9 (8+1) with the 5mm hook.
2. Work 1 sc into 2nd chain, sc across the row, turn.
3. Ch 1, sc into base of chain.
4. Scblo until the last stitch, sc into last stitch.
5. Repeat for 68 more rows. (Total rows is 70 or 35 ribs)
6. Slip stitch or whip stitch the edges together and turn right way out.
7. Change to 5.5 mm hook.
8. Ch1, sc into the side of each row (70 stitches).
9. Sl st to join row.
10. Place a stitch marker on the outside of the brim. You will need to work the bobble rows on the wrong side and the other rows on the right side. This will help you identify each side.

Row 1 (Bobble)

1. Turn brim to wrong side. Change to color B.
2. Chain 3.
3. YO, insert hook into base of chain, YO pull through. YO, draw through 2 loops. (2 loops on hook)
4. YO, insert hook into same stitch, YO pull through. YO, draw through 2 loops. (3 loops on hook.)
5. YO, insert hook into same stitch, YO pull through. YO, draw through 2 loops. (4 loops on hook.)
6. YO, draw through 4 loops. (1 loop on hook.)    
7. Sc, skip 1 stitch.
8. *Bobble, ch 1, skip 1.
9. Repeat from * all along the row, until the last st.
10. Slip stitch to join.

1. Turn to right side. Change to color A
2. Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc around row.
3. Sl St to join.

Row 3 (Sc)

1. Change to color B.
2. Continue on right side.

1. Ch1 (doesn’t count as stitch), sc in first 2 stitches.
2. *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 stitches
3. Repeat from * around row.

5. Fasten off leaving a long tail.

Finishing the Bobble Beanie Crochet Pattern

1. Thread a yarn needle and do a small up and down stitch (running stitch) all the way around the edge.
2. Pull tight to gather. Stitch across the top a couple of times to further secure.
