Supplies

• Worsted weight yarn (10ply) #4. Approximately 510 m (560y)
• 5mm (H-8) crochet hook or size to meet gauge.

I used Lion Brand Wool Ease with 2 skeins of Succulent and 1 skein of Fisherman. You can use any worsted weight yarn.

2. YO, insert hook into same stitch, YO pull through. YO, draw through 2 loops. (3 loops on hook.)
3. YO, insert hook into same stitch, YO pull through. YO, draw through 2 loops. (4 loops on hook.)
4. YO, insert hook into same stitch, YO pull through. YO, draw through 2 loops. (5 loops on hook.)
5. YO, draw through 5 loops. (1 loop on hook.)    

How to Crochet a Bobble Stitch Scarf, Instructions

Row 1 (Hdc)

1. In color A, chain 220 (or any even number).
2. Insert hook into 3^rd chain and hdc.
3. Hdc across row. (219 stitches)
4. Turn.

Row 2 (Hdc)

1. Ch 1 (doesn’t count as stitch), hdc.
2. Hdc across row. Turn.

Row 3 (Bobble)

1. Change to color B.
2. Chain 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next stitch. Ch1, sk1.

4. Repeat from * all along the row, until the last 2 stitches.
5. Dc in last 2 stitches. Turn.

Row 4 and 5 (Hdc)

1. Change to color A.
2. Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc around row. Sl St to join.
3. Repeat for row 5.

Row 6 (Sc)

1. Change to color B.
2. Ch 1 (doesn’t count as stitch), sc around row.
3. Sl St to join.

Row 7 and 8 (Hdc)

1. Change to color A.
2. Ch 1 (doesn’t count as stitch), hdc around row. Sl St to join.
3. Repeat for row 8.

Row 9 to 17

1. Repeat Rows 3 to 8
2. ROW 9 – BOBBLE
3. ROW 10 – HDC
4. ROW 11 – HDC
5. ROW 12 – SC

Finishing

1. Fasten off and weave in ends.
