Learning how to make a hat should be your key sewing project this Summer. Protect yourself and your family! This stylish sun hat pattern is amazing value as it comes in baby, kids and adult sizes and 3 brim widths. Best of all, I have a video tutorial to help new sewers understand all the steps to making a hat.

How to Make a Hat - Supplies
- Fabric - Cotton quilting fabric or decorator fabrics such as drill work well. The green hat in the photo above was made in a cotton drill which gave a nice body and stiffness to the hat.
- Interfacing for the brim - heavy fusible interfacing. Heavyweight interfacing is particularly important for the wider brims so they don't flop into your eyes.

I made the pillowcase dress for my granddaughter and she just loves it. Very easy to make and pattern was easy to follow. Bought the fabric for $3.00 a yard, so it was a no cost dress to make. Will be making more Thank you.
