How to Make a Hat – Supplies
- Fabric – Cotton quilting fabric or decorator fabrics such as drill work well. The green hat in the photo above was made in a cotton drill which gave a nice body and stiffness to the hat.
- Interfacing for the brim – heavy fusible interfacing. Heavyweight interfacing is particularly important for the wider brims so they don’t flop into your eyes.
