Supplies

• Worsted weight yarn (10ply, #4). Approximately 800m/880y.
• 5 mm (H-8) crochet hook.
• Tapestry Needle for weaving.

I used 4 skeins of Paintbox Wool Blend Worsted in color Fuschia. This yarn, like all Paintbox lines has a fantastic range of colors. It is durable and soft to crochet with. You can use any worsted weight yarn since you can easily adjust the length if your gauge is slightly different.

• Skill Level – Intermediate.
• Gauge (4×4” swatch) – 13 st and 8 rows of dc with a 5mm (H-8) hook. For this wrap pattern, the gauge is not overly important since you can adjust the length by adding or subtracting rows.
• Sizing – 60 W x 19 H inches (152×48 cm). Length is easily adjusted by number of rows.

Window Wrap Instructions

This crochet wrap is worked across the width. Once you have the width established, you can do as many rows as you wish.

Foundation Row

1. Chain 65.
2. Insert hook into 4^th chain and dc.
3. Dc across row. (63 stitches)

Row 1

1. Chain 3 (counts as dc), dc next 2 stitches.
2. *Chain 3, skip 2, tr in next 3 stitches. Chain 3, skip 2, dc in next 3 stitches.
3. Repeat from * across row. The last dc will be into the top of the chain.

Row 2

1. Chain 3 (counts as dc), dc next 2 stitches.
2. *Chain 3, sc into top of the 3 tr stitches below.
3. Chain 3, dc into the top of the 3 dc stitches below.
4. Repeat from * across row. The last dc will be into the top of the chain.

Row 3

1. Chain 3 (counts as dc), dc next 2 stitches.
2. *Chain 3, sc into top of the 3 sc stitches below.
3. Chain 3, dc into the top of the 3 dc stitches below.
4. Repeat from * across row. The last dc will be into the top of the chain.

Row 4

1. Chain 3 (counts as dc), dc next 2 stitches.
2. *Chain 3, tr in the top of the next 3 sc stitches.
3. Chain 3, dc in top of the next 3 dc stitches.
4. Repeat from * across row. The last dc will be into the top of the chain.

Row 5

1. Chain 3 (counts as dc), dc next 2 stitches.
2. *2 dc in the chain 3 space.
3. Dc in the top of the next 3 dc stitches.
4. Repeat from * across row. The last dc will be into the top of the chain.

Subsequent Rows

Repeat the pattern from rows 1 to 5 until your wrap reaches 60 inches (152cm) or your desired length. You should end on a row 5 (dc row).

Blocking
